We will be serving the following dinner specials tonight:
- Grilled Steak Salad: Grilled steak served over mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, shaved red onion,beets, and avocado with a side of Dijon vinaigrette. $18.99
- Jamie's Famous GUMBO: Jamie's classic gumbo recipe, poultry & Stachowski Brand sausage complimented with celery, onions and peppers served over rice. $17.99
Dinners will be ready beginning at 5:30pm and are available until close at 8:00. Please reserve all orders by phone 202-506-3125 Phone-in orders will receive first priority. Walk-in orders at the shop will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
We are located on the corner of 28th St. and P St. approximately six blocks west of Dupont Circle and 4 blocks north of M St. in Georgetown.

Ironically, I was trying to stay out of the house because it made me sad to be there without [Dillon]. I went in to work and our administrative assistant's daughter was there with two new foster pups, six weeks old. They were two out of seven from a litter that was found by the side of the road in a box. I held Libby for at least an hour, and the rest is history!

The third dog in this post, Buddy, makes me feel nostalgic. You may or may not know this, but I used to have a dog named Buddy as well. I grew up with Buddy, my family's yellow lab, starting when I was in middle school. He died just this past January after spending twelve years with our family. I know Buddy is a really common name for a dog, but it still made me feel a connection!
